Sicily Hegge from Elizabeth City, North Carolina

Sicily Hegge is a Savannah College of Art and Design student majoring in Thematic Entertainment Design; she has a strong passion for creating entertaining and immersive experiences that bring magic into peoples lives. She plans to one day work with local governments to make themed experiences more local and accessible to larger communities. She enjoys swimming, painting, and sewing in her free time. Sicily does her best to make every student feel accepted and encouraged as a student ambassador, she also volunteers for many school events like the career fair. After graduation, Sicily hopes to make a positive impact on many different communities through leading themed experience development like theme parks, playgrounds, and aquariums. Receiving the Live Like Luc Scholarship has helped her fund her Associates of Engineering degree (concurrent to her bachelors) which will round out her education and ensure she has a wealth of knowledge available for future projects. The values portrayed by Luc will stay with Sicily forever as she utilizes her passion, drive, and compassion in her career.
