Jayme Lewallen from Tuolumne, California
Jayme Lewallen is a 6th generation Tuolumne County resident. She’s been married to her husband, Matt, for 14 years and have three beautiful daughters. Jayme is a 1999 graduate of Summerville High School and an alumni of CSU, Fresno earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science in 2005. She’s been employed at Adventist Health Sonora in the Clinical Laboratory for 19 years. Outside of work, Jayme is an avid gardener and enjoys working with the animals on her small farm. She is passionate about giving back to the community and ensuring the youth of today become tomorrow’s successful leaders. For this reason, she has volunteered as a Club Leader of the Tuolumne Pioneers 4-H Club, while also leading a Poultry Project for the club. Jayme is passionate about giving back to the Tuolumne community, inspiring her to become a registered nurse. She is currently enrolled in the nursing program offered by Pacific Union College and just finished her first quarter earning a 4.0 GPA. She will be graduating in June 2026 with an Associates Degree in Nursing and will sit for her State Boards shortly after that. Jayme’s hope is to be employed at Adventist Health Sonora starting fall of 2026 as a registered nurse.
