In Lucs’s words, “today was the most beautiful day of the year.” It was sunny and blue skies, a perfect day to get outside. This afternoon a trail running group in Maniago sponsored a trail run/walk in Luc’s honor. There was at least 100 people that participated, both Italians and Americans of all ages. The town mayor was there and did the run with us. Most impressive of all, was Cassy treked 2.2 miles uphill and back with lots of energy to spare, only a few weeks from having her baby girl. The outing was great and we all felt like Luc was with us. Thank you all who came out and participated!
